Obituary

Clayton Lavon Fisher passed away peacefully Friday, December 27, 2024, under the care of Rose Arbor Hospice after a long battle with heart disease.

Clayton was born March 25, 1970, in Kalamazoo to Paul Lavon and Joyce Ann (Kendall) Fisher.

Ace, as he was fondly nicknamed, grew up around Kalamazoo under the watchful eye of his older sister Amy.

In 1995, Clayton met and fell in love with his soulmate, Laura Brown, who he spent the next 29 years in love with. Laura brought to the relationship her young son, Travis, who Clayton raised as his own and built an inseparable relationship with. In 2000, they welcomed their second son, Clayton Lavon Fisher Jr., and their family was then complete.

Clayton worked in construction and auto mechanics self-proclaiming "Jack of all trades, master of none". He loved riding the open roads on his motorcycle and was a member of the Wild Bunch motorcycle club. Clayton was an avid consumer and advocate for Cannabis. Clayton was best described by his sons as the most amazing father, protector and provider ever.

Left to mourn and cherish Clayton's memory are his extended family mother Joyce Fisher, soulmate Laura Brown, sons Travis (Hannah) Brown and Clayton "CJ" Fisher, grandchildren Xander and Alice Brown and Kahliel Fisher, sister Amy Fisher, Uncles Mike Kendall, Jim Kendall, and Aunt Donna Kendall and special nephew Stephen (Paige) Fisher, along with numerous friends and family.

Clayton was preceded in death by his father and stepmother Paul and Dee Fisher.

A Celebration of Life will take place in the Spring.
