Cindy (Kosnik) Peters, age 49, of Lowell, Michigan, passed away on Monday May 4, 2026 after a long and courageous battle with cancer.

She was the daughter of Leonard and Ruth Kosnik, born in 1977 in Midland, Michigan.

Cindy graduated from Lowell High School in 1995. After graduating from Grand Rapids Community College in 1997, she went to work for Future Electronics in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

She married Brian Scott Peters in 2003, and together they had 2 children, Brycen Scott Peters and Brennen Spencer Peters.

Cindy had a beautiful soul and emanated kindness, empathy, generosity, compassion, and often prioritized others needs over her own.

Cindy leaves behind her husband of 22 years, Brian, her sons Brycen and Brennen, her parents Leonard and Ruth, her brother Richard Kosnik, sister-in-law Libbey Kosnik, mother-in-law Betty Peters, father-in-law Don Peters, brother-in-law Don Peters Jr., sister-in-law Tammy Peters, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, friends, and co-workers who all loved her dearly. She will be greatly missed by all who have had the privilege of knowing her.

According to Cindy’s wishes, cremation has taken place, and a Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 30th at the Lowell Veteran’s Center (VFW Post 8303), 3116 Alden Nash Ave SE Lowell, MI 49331 from 12:00pm until 6:00pm.
