Mrs. Christine Sims of Youngstown, Ohio at age 72, passed away on Saturday, June 19, 2021. She was born to Booker T Dixon and Hope (McClendon) on February 14, 1949, in Pittsburgh, Pa. She was born the oldest of her family.
Christine Sims a mother of 5 children, 4 Girls Darla Phillips, Hope Houser, Michelle Ratley, and Rosalyn (Husband Melvin) Garland and 1 Son Andy King (Wife Sarah). She has 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Christine was married to Julius Sims November 6, 1999. She was an active member of the East Campbell congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses located in Youngstown, OH where she developed new lasting friendships!
Christine dedicated many years of her life helping others develop a true love for the Bible, while at the same time, raising her children to develop a love for the Bible as well! Before moving to Youngstown OH, Christine lived in Washington, PA for many years, where she developed many close friends that she loved dearly!
Christine is survived by her husband Julius, her daughters Darla, Michelle, and Rosalyn and her son Andy.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Judy, and her daughter Hope, and grandson Rob.
