Cheryl Ruth Robinson, age 69, passed away at home surrounded by the love of her family on Saturday, May 29, 2021. She was born on April 2, 1952 to George and Marion Sherman in Barryton, Michigan. She shared 51 loving years with her husband Steven A. Robinson whom she married on June 14, 1969. Cheryl returned to school and graduated with her diploma from Belding Area Schools in 1993. She enjoyed collecting decorative wind chimes and bird feeders, and spoiling her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Cheryl is survived by her husband Steven and their 4 children, Steven S. (Shandi) Robinson, James (Rachell) Robinson, Patrick (Jennifer) Robinson, and Misti Robinson, all of Belding; 15 grandchildren, Artisia Antcliff, Joshua Robinson, Lacie (Randy) Brigham, Jesse Robinson, Rosie Robinson, Cassie Lehner, Taylor Simon, Makayla Simon, Makenzie Simon, Tyler Simon, Chase Robinson, Boden Robinson, Carly Robinson, Nancy Robinson, and Breann Graham, and 18 great-grandchildren.
She is lovingly remembered by her sisters Lucinda 'Cindy' Brooks of Belding, and Merry Christina 'Chris' (James) Harris of Belding, brother George Randall 'Randy' (Linda) Sherman of Manchester, TN; Aunts Tena Lindsey of Belding and Helen Parrish of Barryton, and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Cheryl is preceded in death by her parents, George and Marion Sherman, brother John Sherman, and her father- and mother-in-law Stanley and Doris Robinson.
In lieu of a funeral service the family welcomes you to celebrate her life and share memories with them at a memorial luncheon on Sunday, June 6, 2021 at 2:00, at Family Life Center Church of God, 8683 Storey Rd, Belding, MI. Final arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Simply Cremations and Funeral Care in Grand Rapids. Instead of flowers, the family recommends a memorial donation in Cheryl's name to Hospice of Michigan.
