Charlie "Buster" L. Johnson, 49 yrs, of Vandalia, MI passed away on Friday May 19th peacefully at his home after a lengthy illness. He was born on July 10, 1967, in Paw Paw, MI to the parents of Everett and Rebecca (Smith) Johnson who preceded him in death. Buster was a 1985 graduate of Marcellus High School and spent his formidable years residing in Marcellus, MI. He resided in Vandalia for his post graduate years. He was employed and worked as a Supervisor press operator at Postle Extrusion in Cassopolis. He previously was employed by White Farms of Cassopolis, MI. He loved his work and made numerous friendships both at work as well as outside employment. His passions were fishing, snowmobiling and watching reality tv as well as spending time with his friends. He is survived by his siblings, Beatrice Lesher of Sturgis, MI., Everett "Buddy" Johnson of Vandalia, Carol Roskam of Jones and Sherry (Dave) Stuck of Caspian, MI. as well as numerous nieces and nephews and special friends, which he shared a special bond. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Gladys Caudill and Sue Hensley both formally of Bronson, MI There will be graveside services and interment at Bly Cemetery on June 2nd, 2017 at 11:00AM. Pastor Mark Roberts of Bronson, MI officiating. A gathering of friends and relatives will be held at the Dr. T.K. Lawless park (enclosed pavilion) 15122 Monkey Run St, Vandalia, MI immediately following interment.
