Charles Cecil Ruth (85) passed away on April 5, 2023.

He is survived by his partner, Doris Heigel, children, Chuck (Debbie) Ruth, Tracey (Jeff) Kuyers, JoAnn Glatz, Rhonda Martin & Kristi DeWitt, (16) Grandchildren, (24) Great Grandchildren & (2) Great Great Grandchildren, his Sister Brenda (Jim) Hutchinson (Of New Jersey) & Special Friend & Casino Partner, Robert (Wiggy) Vanderwege all of Holland, MI

Charles is proceeded in death by his Wife (Donna L. Ruth), parents Henry & Caroline Ruth, 4 brothers & 6 sisters as well as many nieces & nephews & long time family friend, Marion (Nana) Domalavage .

Charles served in the US Air Force during peace time. Chuck was a member of Alcoholics Anonymous for many years, he took great pride in his sobriety (39 Years) this April 22, 2023. He helped countless people get their lives back by being their sponsor/mentor. He believed people could change & deserved a 2nd chance. He helped many get jobs at his place of employment. Chuck was a talented tool maker at ITW/Drawform & Trans-Matic, retiring from ITW/Drawform, then worked part-time at Family Fare until he was 82. Charlie was known for his sense of humor & friendly persona. If you knew him, you knew!
