Our family is sad to announce the passing of Charles William Hudson, age 87, of Sparta, Michigan. He passed away at home with loved ones with him on Sunday, July 21, 2024, from several health complications.

Charles was born on April 1, 1937, in his home state of Michigan.  Charles had many interests in his lifetime.  He enjoyed fishing, hunting, rodeo, and boxing.  Later in life, he became an avid bowler and golfer.  Golfing became his passion. This allowed him to make many friends throughout his lifetime. He also took great pride in his work, starting in the workforce at a very early age to help his family.  He finally retired at the age of 67.  Even then, Charles worked part-time at the Sparta Moose Lodge until health issues forced him to stop.

Charles is survived by his two daughters: Dawn Woods-Beasecker and Renee Jo Wright; his sisters: Glades and Barbara; brother, Roy; four grandchildren: Anthony, Amanda, Cassandra, and Ryan; and five great-grandchildren: Andrew, Kegan, Catherine, Alaina and Maverick.

A Celebration of Life and Legacy for Charles will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 3, 2024, at Parkwood Green Trailer Park Club House, 1 Jack Pine St, Sparta, MI 49345.
