Charles C. Flanagan, Jr., age 64, of Plainwell, passed away on Wednesday, August 10, 2022. He was born on March 26, 1958 in Fort Dix, NJ to Major (ret.) Charles C. Sr. and Constance (Brunelle) Flanagan. Chuck loved cars and enjoyed fixing them up and also spent a lot of year's drag racing. He also enjoyed football and never missed watching a Notre Dame Fighting Irish game. Family was everything to him, and he loved spending time with them and his dog, Trooper. Most of his adult life was spent in the printing industry. Charles will be missed dearly by his children: Charles C. Flanagan III and Makenzy Flanagan; his sisters; Maureen Flanagan, Charlene (Gary) Hesselink, and Linda (Tim) Savage; his Sister-in-law Kathleen Flanagan; several nieces & nephews; his dog, Trooper; and his friends, Jacob Morrell and Austin Mckee. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Brian Flanagan, Sr.; and sister, Patricia Flanagan. A funeral service will take place at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 17, 2022, at Ofield Funeral Home, 4500 Kalamazoo Ave, SE, Kentwood. A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. Interment will take place at a later date, in a private ceremony at Resurrection Cemetery.
