Cecil Lawrence Smith
July 10, 1955 - July 22, 2022

Cecil Lawrence Smith passed away on Friday July 22, 2022. He will be profoundly missed by
his daughters, Kimberly Squires, Jacqueline Smith, and Naomi Smith.

Cecil was preceded in death by his parents Cecil Smith and Idabell Jones, and his brother,
Ronnie Smith.

Cecil was born in the state of Missouri, and grew up in Holland, MI. He lived a very simple lifestyle. Cecil was in the Army and protected the Panama Canal in his younger days. When technology started to grow, Cecil had a liking for computers, phones, and stereo systems. Cecil was blessed with hard working skills, a great sense of humor, and a big heart.

He loved listening to rock music, watching zombie movies, playing pool, and shooting his guns. Cecil made time for his daughters as they grew up, he also spoiled them with the simplest gestures. He cooked the best sausage and eggs for breakfast!!

His favorite shows were "Mash" & "Combat!", however he enjoyed watching the drama shows on Ion channel.

In every job he held, he was well liked by his supervisors and coworkers. Cecil had a kind heart and heartwarming soul that made it easy for others to relate to him. He loved to make people laugh.

Cecil's friends describe him as a happy person.

Cremation took place on July 27, 2022. A celebration of life service will be held from 1:00 p.m.-
3:00 p.m. on Sunday August 28, 2022, at The Weaver House of Pine Bend Park, 15400 Polk St,
West Olive, MI 49460. Service Details. Visitation
