Obituary

Cecelia A. Pyard passed away April 8, 2021, after a lengthy illness; she was born August 8, 1926. She left family and friends with a lifetime of happy memories and will be missed by all who knew her.

Cecelia was preceded in death by her parents, Stanley and Eleanor (Zukowski) Maksimowski; brothers and sisters: Stanley Maksimowski, Jr.; Mary (Frank) Green; Bert (Leone) Maksimowski; Julius (Emile) Maxim; Edward (Eleanor) Maksim; Martha (Stanley) Tomaszewski; Chester (Ann, Sylvia) Maksim,; Zigmund (Mary, Pauline, Beverly) Maksim; Bernard (Delores) Maksim. Cecelia was also preceded in death by her husbands, Richard J. Krutel and Robert L. Pyard.

Cecelia is survived by her daughters, Bernadette Dewey and Christine Lieske; grandchildren Lisa Dewey, Stephanie Dewey, Kyle Dewey, Erik (Shannon)Hankis; Christopher (Cindy) Lieske, Holly (Charlie) Mattson; great grandchildren, Kelly Lieske, Colton Lieske, Ella Mattson, Sam Mattson; great great grandchildren Autumn Hankis, Nixon Dewey; stepchildren Renae (Bob) Teesdale, Rob (Linda) Pyard, Tim (Linda)Pyard and their families; many nieces and nephews. Cecelia was a member of Assumption BVM Church and the Consolata Guild in Belmont, Michigan. In keeping with Cecelia's wishes, there will be no funeral service or visitation; cremation has taken place.

Memorial contributions may be made to Consolata Missionary Sisters thru Assumption BVM Church in Belmont, Michigan or to Elara Caring Hospice of Grand Rapids, Michigan,
