Fisher
January 9, 1952 – March 10, 2019
Ceaser Dwain Fisher departed this life March 9, 2019, he was 67 years old. Ceaser was born on January 9, 1952 in Muskegon, Michigan to the late, Eugene Fisher Sr. and Elsie Fisher-Blakely, who preceded him in death. Also, preceding him in death was a beloved son, Nasir Ahmad Dooley. Ceaser attended both Muskegon Community College, and Jackson State College where he received his certification in Welding. He graduated from Muskegon Heights High school, in 1970. Ceaser was an exceptional Musician who played acoustic guitar and flute. He would often "sit-in" on stage with jazz greats such as, Charles Earland, Grant Green, Jack McDuff, and Jimmy McGriff during the 70's in Detroit, Michigan. He mastered both the guitar and flute. Music was his passion. Ceaser moved to Sacramento, California during the early 80's to pursue his musical career and remained on the West Coast for over 30 years. He lived between Sacramento, CA and Portland, Oregon where he worked various skilled trade jobs and played music. He moved back to Michigan in 2012 and made Grand Rapids, MI his home. Ceaser joined the Apostolic Faith Church under the leadership of Pastor Dorian Richardson and was baptized. He confessed Christ as his personal Savior. He took his religion seriously and he loved the Lord. He enjoyed reading the Bible and could recall and quote scripture verbatim. He was intelligent and wise beyond his years, and he loved a good argument. Ceaser leaves to cherish his memory three grandchildren; Nasir Dooley II, and Naja Dooley, Grand Rapids, MI; and Makayla Dooley of Columbus, OH; Six siblings: A loving brother, and confidante Mr. Eugene Fisher, Jr. Chicago, Illinois; a devoted and loving sister Nimat Rashid (Denise Fisher) of Atlanta, GA; Chandra Blakely, Grand Rapids, Michigan; Kimberly Fisher, Constance Walker, of Muskegon Heights, MI; and Trina Newborn, Columbia, South Carolina.
