Carolyn Sue Kelley, of Fremont, Michigan, went to be with the angels on Sunday, October 13, 2019. Carolyn was born on December 23, 1946, in Grand Rapids, Michigan to Jack and Mary (Zalaoras) Atkins. She enjoyed dancing, singing, reading, crocheting, hunting and fishing. One of her favorite things to do was to go garage- saling. She also loved to camp and travel with her husband, Clyde Kelley, spending time looking for sea shells and stones on the beaches. She loved her family and animals very much. Carolyn took great pride in her family and cherished her time spent with them. Carolyn is survived by her husband, Clyde Kelley of Fremont; children, Christy and AJ Lee of Fremont, Chad and Theressa (Tes) Kelley of Fremont; eight grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren plus one on the way; sisters, Connie Atkins of Grand Rapids, Michigan, Jacquelyn and David Hankamp of Fremont, Michigan, Patti and Greg Beduhn of Stanwood, Michigan; step mother-in-law, Beatrice Kelley of Cedar Springs, Michigan; brother-in-law, Keith Wiseley of Stanton, Michigan; and many nieces and nephews. Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Mary Atkins; sister Sandra Atkins; brother, Thomas Atkins; sisters-in-law, Alberta Wright, Rose Wiseley, and Harriet Kelley; brother-in-law, James Kelley. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Sunday, October 20, 2019 between 2:00 pm and 4:00 pm at Sherman Twp Hall, 2168 Wisner Ave., Fremont, MI 49412.
