Carole Ann (Johnson) Vonk died peacefully on December 19, 2025 at St. Mary's Hospital in Grand Rapids, MI  following heart and respiratory related issues.

Carole was born on March 26, 1943 in Grand Rapids, MI to Walter and Ruth Johnson. She attended South High School, graduating in 1961. Carole furthered her education at cosmetology school following high school.

Carole is survived by her loving daughter and caretaker, Dawn Pitsch, son Chuck (Hoa) Hunter, and grandchildren Ken, Tabbatha and Tina, as well as her special feline companions Goob and Honey. She is also survived by her brother John Johnson, and niece and nephews Derek, Karyn and Erik.

The family would like to offer heartfelt thanks to Southwestern Hospice for their care during Carol's final days.

Carole loved life, was devoted to her family, and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Please include Carole and her family in your prayers.
