Carole Joy (Haan) Velthouse age 86, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, July 25, 2026, after a long battle with Dementia.  She was proceeded in death by her parents, Fred and Jean Haan; brother and sister-in-law Norm and Joyce Haan; sister and brother-in-law Joyce and Alex VanVels; sister and brother-in-law Ruth and Sherwood Kok; brother-in-law David Fisher; grandson, Justin Velthouse. Carole will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her husband of 69 years, Gerald Velthouse, their children Michael Velthouse, Kimberly (Chris) Wozniak, Chuck (Mery) Velthouse, her grandchildren, Ben (Eric) Velthouse, Jenny Dumont, Mike Nabor, Meggan (Dan) Kasprowicz, Charlie (Amber) Velthouse, Aubrey (Dave) Miles, Taylor (Kay) Brown and many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was an amazing sister, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother and great grandmother. Viewing will be August 5th, 2026 at Ofield Funeral Home, 4500 Kalamazoo Ave SE, Kentwood, Michigan 49508 from 12 PM to 2 PM and a private immediate family graveside memorial will follow.
