Carole Irene Gray, 82 of Caledonia, MI passed away on Saturday, April 25, 2026. 

Carole was born in Grand Rapids, MI to Ira and Thelma (Jensen) Petersen on November 13, 1943. She graduated from Ottawa Hills High School and worked at Sentry Insurance and JC Penny. She enjoyed spending time at the lake and playing games with family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Carl and her parents. 

She is survived by her sisters, Janet Pomarico and Sharon Avery; four children: Roger & Katherine (Kirk) Gray, Ryan & Melissa (Drozd) Gray , Tracy & Mark Betts, Thomas Gray; Six grandchildren: Brady Gray, Avery Gray, Brooke & Pat Valle, Charles Betts, Luke & Tana (Burt) Betts, Amanda & Richard Harris & 8 great grandchildren along with her brother and sister in laws Larry and Sona Gray and 4 nieces and a nephew. 

Visitation is at 2:00 PM at Gaines Church, 1612 92nd SE, Caledonia, MI 49316 on Saturday, May 23rd followed by a memorial service celebrating Carole's life at 3:00 PM, Pastor Tom Datema officiating.
