Carol Ann Tryon, age 74, loving sister, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away Tuesday, March 30, 2021, due to complications of COVID-19. Carol was born in Maryland and moved to Michigan when she was young. Her favorite holiday was Christmas and she loved baking all kinds of goodies for the family. She was an amazing caregiver both professionally and personally and loved taking care of her great-granddaughter after retirement with her husband of 40 years, Don. Carol was a generous and loving person and she was kind to everyone she met. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Surviving is her husband Don; brother Tom Simmons; sons Greg DeGraff, and David DeGraff (Toni), and daughter Michelle DeZwaan; step children Wendy (Michael) Bush, Jeff Tryon, and Michelle Smith; grandchildren Jessie DeGraff (Jessi), David Maxwell, special granddaughter Emily Layton (Caleb), and great-granddaughter, Carolyn. She was preceded in death by her parents Charles Leroy Simmons and Virginia Therese Jarmosco; brother David; and sisters Judy, Nancy and Sandy. At her wishes, cremation is taking place with a private viewing for family.
