Carol A. Briggs, 71, of Douglas, MI made her transition in the early hours of June 24, 2018 at Holland Hospital after an extended illness. She is survived by her brother, Charles Briggs, her sister and best friend, Ruth Vanden Bosch and her fur children, Bailey and Bella. She is also survived by her sister-in-laws Joan and Rebecca Briggs, many nieces and nephews and friends. Carol was an RN on the Oncology Unit for 28 years at Spectrum Butterworth and she worked for Wellspring Counseling until her retirement in 2008. For Carol, nursing was love made visible and her life was dedicated to the care of her patients. A Memorial Service will be held on July 14, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Douglas Congregational UCC in Douglas, MI with Pastor Sal Sapienza officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Douglas Congregational UCC would be appreciated.
