April 3, 2015 Calvin Louis Kirkbride, 22 months, passed away tragically on Friday, April 3rd in Grand Rapids. Calvin is survived by his parents Cory and Sherry Kirkbride; sisters, Katelynn, Kelsey, Kylee; grandparents, Louis and Cathi Kirkbride, John and Sue Schlientz; aunts and uncles, Dallas and Javanna, Cheryl and Larry, Carole Ann, Timothy and Dori, Chad and Joanna; and cousins. Calvin loved to be outside and especially enjoyed soccer and the trampoline. He was a loving and fearless little boy who was always smiling. Calvin was full of energy but still loved falling asleep in his father's arms. Visitation for Calvin will be Tuesday, April 7th, from Noon until 2pm and from 6pm until 8pm with a rosary starting at 8pm, at the Ofield Funeral Home, 4500 Kalamazoo Ave in Kentwood. Mass of Christian burial will be Wednesday at 11am with an hour of visitation prior at Saint Mary Magdalene Church, 1213 52nd St SE in Kentwood. The family asks in lieu of flowers that friends and family consider donations to the family.
