Burton Edward Symon, age 87 of Cedar Springs Michigan passed peacefully in his home on May 7,2018. He was born in Big Rapids Michigan to Edward and Mary (Hunt) Symon. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 64 years Dolores (Arndt) Symon. Burton is survived by his children Chuck and Liza Symon, Jim and (Carol) Nauta, David and Debbie Symon, Laurie Symon-Eaton, Harry and ( Karen ) Williams, Craig and ( MaryBeth) Meyer and his 13 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. Burton served his country in the United States Marine Corp. He was a Korean War combat veteran and the recipient of the Purple Heart Award. The family is planning a Celebration of Life event for both Burton and Dolores later this summer.
