Obituary

Brian Lee Lawrence, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away on October 9, 2026, at the age of 60.

He leaves behind a family who loved him dearly and countless memories that will forever be cherished by those fortunate enough to have known him.

Brian was a devoted husband to his wife, Amy Jo Lawrence, and a loving father to Alyssa (Chorry) Sin, Kaytlin (Matthew) Siemen, Adam (Leah) Lawrence, Joseph Borland, Anthony Lawrence, Jonie Borland, Maya (Phillip) Keller, and Cristian Borland. Above all, Brian took great pride in being a grandpa. His grandchildren held a very special place in his heart, and the love he had for them was immeasurable. He treasured his family and the time spent with them, creating memories that will be carried on for generations.

Brian is also survived by his beloved brothers and sisters: Jonathan (Jackie) Lawrence, Dorothy (Jerry) Hoek, Robin Kemperman, Ronald (Janet) Lawrence, and Debra (Daniel) Houle, along with many nieces, nephews, whom he loved with all his heart.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Dorothy Lawrence; his brother, Arthur Lawrence; his mother-in-law, Susan Van Klaveren; his brother-in-law, William Kemperman; and his niece, Amanda Lawrence-Swift.

Brian found happiness in the simple things in life. He enjoyed collecting antiques, watching the birds, and tending to his garden. But perhaps his greatest joy was being the best grandpa he could be. Whether he was spending time with his family, sharing a laugh, or enjoying the things he loved, Brian had a way of making ordinary moments special.

Known for always being the first to crack a joke and bring a smile to someone's face, Brian had a gift for making people laugh. His humor, warmth, and loving spirit brought light to those around him. He could brighten a room with a joke and remind everyone that sometimes the best moments in life are the ones spent laughing together.

Brian's passing leaves a tremendous void in the hearts of his wife, children, grandchildren, siblings, extended family, and friends. Though he may no longer be with us in person, his laughter will echo in our memories, his love will live on through his family, and the lessons and moments he shared will never be forgotten.

He will be deeply missed by so many and loved forever. Until we meet again, Brian.
