Brian Evans DeVries, Jr. November 18, 1985 - March 5, 2018 Brian "Evans" DeVries, Jr. passed away unexpectantly into eternal glory. Evans resided in Grand Rapids most of his life and spent time living in the U.P. during college years. He enjoyed spending time agate hunting along the Superior shore and Brook Trout fishing with his daughter. He was greeted in heaven by his "Papa" Jim Stocking with loving arms. He leaves behind a daughter, Kwynn Evans DeVries (age 7), his parents Brian and Tamara DeVries, sister Sarah (Christopher) Sturm, Aunt Laura Hugger, Uncles Bob (Renee) Stocking and Scott (Barbara) DeVries and Grandmothers, Carol DeVries and Ruth Stocking. A private celebration of life has been held with family. In lieu of flowers, a college fund has been established for Evans' daughter, Kwynn.
