At Butterworth Hospital Grand Rapids, MI, Brenda (Butler) Platz on March 4th 2017 went to be with her Lord Jesus, she was born to Verne Butler and Elaine (Blaisdell) Butler January 9th 1940. Her father, mother, and sister Diane Soike (Jerry) proceeded her in death. She leaves behind her husband of 59 years Theodore Platz, 4 children Veronica Ward-Good (Clifford), Theodore Platz II (Lori), Teresa Carter (Vince), Carl Platz (Jannene), 5 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren, her stepmother Emma (Peterson) Butler, half-sisters, Susan Gill, Shirley Sewell (Bruce), Janice Warren (Norman), and half-brother Larry Butler (Vicki). She was a loving mother/grandmother and she enjoyed grandchildren very much. She enjoyed going to the Casino's and Bingo with friends before she became too ill to do so. In respect of her wishes cremation has taken place and a private family ceremony will be set in the future.
