Brenda Sue Forshee, 58, of Grand Rapids, went to be with Christ on January 5th, 2019. Brenda is survived by her husband, Jim; children; MaryRachel (Kyle) Dysarz and grandbaby due in June, Jameson and Micah; parents, Frederick & Shirley Starner; brother, Bryan (Jana) Starner and parents-in-law, Ralph & Mary Ellen Forshee. Brenda will be remembered for the passionate love she shared with everyone around her. She served her church, Grand Rapids International Fellowship, as the Pastor for Care and Counseling, showing Christ's abundant compassion and grace to everyone she met. Brenda loved people with passion, she cherished her time with her family, and always loved hosting people in her home. She was a traveler who frequented East Tawas, Old Man's Cave, and Siesta Key with friends and family. Jim remembers enjoying long drives together visiting beautiful locations across the state of Michigan. Brenda's family remembers her always teaching them to love God and love others, which she demonstrated for them by serving friends, church, community, and those in need. We will be celebrating Brenda's life on Wednesday, January 9th at 2:30PM at Grand Rapids International Fellowship Church (3765 Kalamazoo Ave SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49508) Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 8th from 6:30-8PM and again on Wednesday, January 9th from 1-2:30PM all at Grand Rapids International Fellowship. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Prison Fellowship-Angel Tree Ministry (PO Box 1550, Merrifield, VA 22116-1550)
