Ms. Billie Jean Scott (born Wilma Jean Wood), age 76, passed away on Sunday, January 30th, 2022, at Brookcrest Nursing Home in Grandville, Michigan, from complications of COPD. Billie was born on March 10th, 1945 in Muskegon, Michigan to William H. Wood and Virginia Mae (Kitchen) Wood. Billie was a co-owner of JC Construction, a commercial construction company, in the late 70s and early 80s. Her family moved to Oak Ridge, Tennessee in 1986, where she began a successful career as a Realtor. Most of all, Billie enjoyed hosting and being with her family.

Billie is survived by 4 daughters; Susan (Gary Strange) Ford, Jody (Megan Martz) Scott, Jamie (Matt) Langlois, Cory (Kevin) Boggs; 10 grandchildren Georgia, Brandi, Eric, Johanna, Madeline, Troy, Hailee, Crystal, Casey and Tabitha; 9 great-grandchildren; and Sister Marilyn Young-Winkle. Billie was preceded in death by 5 siblings and her son William Troy Scott. According to the family's wishes, a memorial service will take place with a family gathering to follow in the Summer of 2022.
