Bill Edward Dixon, age 66, of Ionia, Michigan passed away on 06/21/2025 after a short battle with Cancer. Born in San Francisco, California. Son of Joy (Jim) Welker and father Sheldon (Rosa) Dixon. Humorous son-in-law to Mary (John) Thalison.

Bill's journey in life was shared with his loving wife, Bobbie of 14 years. Together they shared a life with children Bill, Billy, Tiffany, Brian (Erica) and Harley. Bill was the proudest "Pop-Pop" to grandchildren Maleena, Eycis, Nadia, Corey Jr, Andrew, Mykel, Bill, Paisley and Madilyn. Fun-loving brother to Anita, Carlos, Jeff, Doug, Anita, and Bobbie.

Bill will be remembered for his kindness, hard-working spirit, the dad jokes, and his love for his family. His ability to make you laugh at any given time were gifts to all who knew him. The willingness to lend a helping hand to others was admirable.

Preceded in death by his father, Sheldon Dixon, son Bill Dixon II, sister Anita Griffis, and grandmother Virginia Hayes. Per his request cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life to be held at a later date.
