March 23, 2014 Service: March 28, 2014 Betty Kekel Zbiciak, age 87, of Caledonia, MI formerly of Grand Blanc, MI passed Sunday, Mrch 23, 2014. Betty was preceded in death by her beloved husband Stan of 64 years of marriage. She is survived by her children Chris (Carol) Zbiciak of Maui, Hawaii, Kathy (Ed) Belles of East Lansing, MI, Frank (Celeste) Zbiciak of Ormond Beach, FL, and Sue (Pete) Salhaney of Caledonia, MI; 8 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren, brother John (Jo) Kekel of Swartz Creek, MI. Betty attended Flint Northern High School and Baker College where she became one of Buick main offices first comp-troller (computer operator) in 1946. She married Stan in 1947 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Flint. Betty was a dedicated wife and mother. She was known for her love of cooking and preparing delicious foods with love. Betty's specialty was her fabulous chocolate cake with brown sugar frosting. She and Stan loved to travel, dance and stop by a casino now and again. She will be dearly missed by her family. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, March 28th at 11am in Holy Family Catholic Church, 9699 Kraft Ave, Caledonia, MI. Her family will meet with friends and relatives Thursday from 5-8pm at the Ofield Funeral Home and again Friday from 10-11am at the church.
