September 30, 2011 Service: October 3, 2011 Bette R. Purcell, aged 87, widow of William E. Purcell Sr., of Kentwood, passed away Friday, September 30, 2011. Surviving are her sons, William E (Bonnie) Purcell Jr., Gregory Allen (Ginny) Purcell; four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Monday, October 3 at 11:00 am, at New Hope Free Methodist Church, 5665 Eastern SE with Rev. Kimber Decker officiating. Interment Elmwood Cemetery, Wayland. The family will meet with friends and relatives Sunday from 3:00 to 6:00 pm at the Ofield Funeral Home and Monday from 10:00 to 11:00 am prior the service at church.
