Starts at 11:00 am (Eastern time)
Benjamin "Ben" Moore, of Allegan, Michigan, age 81, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on September 30, 2026.
Ben was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend whose love for his family and faith guided his life. He shared 51 wonderful years of marriage with the love of his life, Victoria, building a home centered on love, commitment, and cherished memories.
He is survived by his loving wife, Victoria Moore; his four children, Cynthia Strachan of Tucson, Arizona, Robert Moore of Lewiston, Maine, Michael (Anna) Moore of Grand Ledge, Michigan, and Cara (Tim) Ritter of Allegan, Michigan. He is also survived by his beloved grandchildren, Lily Wanta, Matthew Ritter, Isabella Ritter, Illiyanna Prado, Gabriella Gardner, Vaughn Pyle, and Bailey Pyle who brought him great pride and joy. He is also survived by his brother Joseph (Caryn) King of Lawton, Michigan. Left behind to guard the house are his loyal Scottish Terriers, Lucky and Percy.
Ben enjoyed visiting classic car shows, watching drag racing and working in his shop. He was especially proud of his custom Oldsmobile Toronado and Avanti projects, always finding fulfillment in creating, restoring, and improving the vehicles he loved.
Above all else, Ben's greatest passion was sharing his faith in Jesus Christ. He desired for everyone to know the saving grace of his Lord and Savior. It was his final wish that those who do not know Christ as their personal Savior would seek Him today and experience the peace, hope, and assurance found through true salvation.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 10, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Allegan Township Hall, located at 3037 118th Avenue, Allegan, Michigan.
Ben's family will forever treasure his love, faith, and steadfast presence. Though he will be deeply missed, they find comfort in knowing he is at home with the Lord he faithfully served.
