October 31, 2011 Service: November 4, 2011 Beatrice L. Smith, aged 88, passed away Monday, October 31, 2011. Surviving is her son, David (Carol) Smith and two grandchildren, Katelyn Smith and Dan Smith and many many friends. Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Gerald J. Smith and son, Dennis J. Smith. Bea spent most of her adult life involved with Smith Business Equipment and Fifth Reformed Church. She enjoyed many years with her husband and friends at the Elks Club and spending time with her grandchildren. Bea was a friend to everyone she met. Funeral services will be held Friday, November 4, at 12:00pm in the Ofield Funeral Home chapel with Reverend Bruce Mulder and Reverend John Sherrill officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
