Barbara M. Morse of Shelbyville, Michigan, age 78, passed away on April 25, 2019. She was born to Robert and Frances Thomas on March 9, 1941 in Plainwell, Michigan. Barbara was born the second of eight children in the small town of Plainwell, Michigan. She graduated from Martin High School in 1958. Barbara married Daniel Morse in 1964 and resided in the Gun Lake area. As they raised their children, her younger siblings lived with them. Barbara loved the family get-togethers that was a regular event at their home. They had many fish fry's and reunions to keep the family together. In her free time, she enjoyed crafting, baking and spoiling the many children she entertained. Her favorite pastime was playing cards with the kids. Barbara loved decorating for the Holidays and the annual family Christmas party. Barbara is survived by her loving children, Charles (Evelyn) Morse, Tammie Morse, her grandchildren Samantha, Bobbie Jo, Cody (Valerie), Danielle, her Great Grandson Easton, Brothers, Jim (Ann), Tim (Lynda), Terry (Roberta), Sisters, Cindy (Dale), Sally (Raymond) and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Bill and Kenny and Daniel Morse . There will be a Celebration of Barbara's Life at 1:00 PM on Sunday, April 28, 2019 at the Orangeville Township Hall, 7350 Lindsey Road, Plainwell, Michigan 49080.
