Austin Ernest Whitfield of Lowell Michigan (formerly of South Carolina), age 24, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, August 25, 2020.

Austin was born in South Carolina and moved to Michigan about 7 years ago. Austin has a special love for his three children, Aubree, Levi and Wyatt. He was a very proud daddy. In Austin's free time you could find him at a river, creek or lake fishing with a big smile on his face. Austin worked at JDE Concrete for the last 7 years and he loved his job. He was always happy to tell you a story about his work day.

Austin is survived by his daughter, Aubree Marie and twin infant sons, Levi and Wyatt, his long-time girlfriend Jennifer McQueen, brothers, Jeffrey Beck and John (Brittnie) Beck and mother, Sonja Sloan. He was preceded in death by his father, Melvin Ernest Whitfield.

There will be a time of visitation from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. and from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 2, 2020, at Ofield Funeral Home, 4500 Kalamazoo Avenue SE, Kentwood, MI 49508. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the funeral home is limited to ten visitors at a time during public visitation. Thank you for understanding.
