On April 7, 2023, Arwin "Win" Craig DeBruyn, age 66, passed away.

Win was born on March 18, 1957, and is the youngest surviving son of Arend M. DeBruyn Jr. and Marian (Sluiter) DeBruyn.

Win grew up on Knapp Street in Grand Rapids where his family moved when he was three years old.  When his parents retired to Florida in 1982, he bought the home from them.  He lived almost his entire life in the same house.

He graduated from Creston High School in 1976 and worked various jobs around Grand Rapids, the longest one being with Oven Fresh Bakery, where he was a proud member of the Teamsters Union.

Win was preceded in death by his father, Arend "Otto" Jr.; mother, Marian; infant twin brother, Arlin; and brothers: Arthur "Joe" and Arend "Mick".  Having never married or had children, Win is survived by his brother, Allen "John"; niece, Stephanie (Jason) Knoll; nephews: Martin (Becky) DeBruyn and Jason (Stacy) DeBruyn; grand-nephews, Nathan Knoll, Martin DeBruyn Jr., and Jackson DeBruyn; as well as many other family members and friends.

Win enjoyed hanging out with friends and family members and listening to good music.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 18, 2023, at Ofield Funeral Home, 4500 Kalamazoo Ave SE, Kentwood, MI 49508.  Interment will take place at a later date at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens alongside his parents and brothers.
