Gallandt, Armin Roy age 76 of Walker, went to be with his Lord and Savior at home on January 22, 2016. Armin was born August 24, 1939 in Detroit, MI to Armin and Clara Jane Gallandt. A graduate from East Grand Rapids High School, he then served in the U.S. Army as a Mechanic's Technician. He then had a career as a machinist for 42 years when he retired from Micron Manufacturing in 2003. He was an avid fisherman and the best handyman you could find. He leaves behind the love of his life of 50 years, Betty Jean (Zawistowski) and his children: Shannon (Derick) Robertson, Blaine (Jen) Gallandt, Jenny (Steve) Majerczak and Heather Gallandt; Nine grandchildren, five great-grandchildren. He also leaves behind a special niece Linda Nevedal, nephew Matt Gundersen, two special friends Sue Frasier and JoAnne Termaat and his best friend and buddy Willow. A memorial service will be held Saturday January 30, 12:00pm at Zion Lutheran Church 582 Lamoreaux Dr., Comstock Park. In lieu of flowers, please consider the needs of the family.
