April VanKampen, age 54, passed away to be with the Lord on April 6th, 2021. She is preceded in death by her mother and step-father Alice and Nick Roelofs.

April is survived by her father Donald; her special friend Bob; many nieces and nephews; brothers Donald and Art VanKampen; as well as Ben and Nikia Roelofs.

April resided in Alma, Michigan where she was extremely active in her home church. She loved to be with the kids in nursery and volunteer at the local hospital making popcorn. April was a loving person who would help anyone who needed it. She will be missed dearly by all of her family and friends.

A private gathering will be held at Ofield Funeral Home for immediate family on Friday, April 16, 2021. The public may attend her graveside committal at 11:00 a.m. where she will be laid to rest at Rosedale Memorial Park, 50 Lake Michigan Drive NW, Grand Rapids, MI 49544. Service Details.
