IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Anthony Paul
Noto Sr.
March 17, 1956 – November 8, 2021
Anthony "Tony" Paul Noto, Sr., 65, of Wyoming, MI unexpectedly passed away Monday, November 8, 2021 surrounded by his loved ones. He will be lovingly remembered always by his wife of 43 years Patti; children Anthony (Lindsey), Lisa (Paul), and Julie; and the great loves of his life - his grandchildren: Christian, Aubrey, Mila, Wesleigh, Lincoln, Preston, Nickolas, and Anthony who affectionately called him Pa.
Born March 17, 1956 in Grand Rapids, he was the son of Nickolas and Marian (Mitchell) Noto . Tony was a standout athlete and record holder for the most stolen bases at Godwin Heights High School, and all conference in football. Tony also played baseball at Grand Rapids Junior College. During his time playing ball in the senior league, he helped his teams win eight World Series rings. Tony passed his love of the game down to his children and grandchildren. He never missed attending one of their sporting events and frequently lent a hand in coaching when needed. Tony also enjoyed being outside playing golf and going hunting. He was a talented craftsman who especially loved to repurpose shipping pallets. He was always found tinkering with things at home or up at his hunting property, and always staying busy. Tony was always the first to step in and lend a hand to whomever was in need, especially when it came to his family. He was a loving and supportive husband, father and grandfather 'Pa' and he will be missed by all who knew him. Tony is preceded in death by his in-laws, Joseph "Ed" and Wanda Wagner; and grandparents, Anthony and Mary Mitchell and Anthony and Vita Noto.
He is survived by his parents, Nickolas and Marian; his wife, Patricia; children, Anthony (Lindsey) Noto, Lisa (Paul) Toothman and Julie Noto; grandchildren, Christian, Aubrey, Mila, Wesleigh, Lincoln, Preston, Nickolas and Anthony; sisters, Vita (Mike) Vincent, Mary (Craig) Meade, JoAnn (Jeff) Carter and Rosemary (Dennis) Wilson; brothers-in-law, Joe (Mary) Wagner and Tom (Helene) Wagner; and many nieces and nephews.
