Annetta Dawn Willson, age 78, of Caledonia, MI, was called home to be with the Lord on Monday, November 11, 2024 (11:11), with her devoted husband, Tim, faithfully by her side.

Born on May 7, 1946, in Petoskey, Michigan, Annetta was a proud graduate of Petoskey High School, Class of 1964. On June 13, 1966, she married the love of her life, Timothy Willson.

Her creativity showed in the beautiful clothes she made for her 5 children, she also loved to crochet, knit, make greeting cards and send letters to her loved ones. Annetta (lovingly known as Nita, Annie or Nanny) shared a unique and deep connection with God and had an intuitive sense with loved ones. Annetta was a selfless soul with unwavering devotion to her family, and the greatest advocate for her children.

The center of our world, the beat of our hearts—she will forever be the sunshine on our shoulders.

Annetta's memory lives on in the hearts of those who loved her dearly. She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Timothy K. Willson; children, Tim Willson Jr., Angela Groenwold, Joe (Kaelee) Willson, Brian (Rose) Willson; siblings Brad (Lisa) Fineout, Deborah Fineout-Smith, and Gwen (Tim) Fineout-Harbaugh; 15 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents Robert C.(Bob) and Edna Fineout; beautiful daughter, Maria Westbrook-Hoekstra; and brothers Delmar Fineout and Robert "Denny" Fineout, joyfully reunited with her in the presence of the Lord.

A celebration of Annetta's life and faith will be held in May of 2025.

In lieu of flowers, the family invites contributions to Annetta's favorite charity, St. Judes Children's Hospital or Elara Caring Hospice Care in care of Trina who provided kind and loving care. Acts of kindness in Annetta's memory are also encouraged, reflecting their commitment to love and serve others as Christ did.
