IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Anne Christine
Vangeest
July 22, 1985 – April 19, 2021
Anne Christine VanGeest (née Waring) passed away suddenly on April 19, 2021 at the age of 35.
She was born in Kent County, MI, on July 22, 1985. Annie graduated from Grand Valley State University with her B.A. in Business Management. She married the love of her life on October 10, 2010.
As a young girl, Annie constantly brought home stray animals. She vowed to one day own a farm where she could care for as many animals as her heart desired. Annie and her family eventually realized this dream with a hobby farm where cows, pigs, goats, and ducks ran wild.
Annie dearly loved her job serving as the Marketing/Development Coordinator for C-SNIP, a non-profit, spay neuter clinic. She also volunteered extensively with Luvnpupz as a foster Mom and was involved with many other rescue organizations. Any animal without a home found one with Annie. Her animal rescue family meant the world to her, and this community loved her fiercely in return.
Annie loved her husband and children deeply. She was a master multi-tasker, always making time for fun family activities despite their busy lifestyle.
Annie is mourned by her beloved husband of ten years and their four young children. She is survived by her parents and her sisters and their families. She is also survived by her husband's grandmother and parents, his brothers and their families, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and co-workers. Finally, Annie is survived by her fur babies Emma, Beast, Yoda, Frankie and Trigger, and her beloved motorcycle, "Wade Wilson."
Memorial contributions in Annie's name may be made to C-SNIP and Luvnpupz of Grand Rapids, MI.
Rest in peace, Annie, after a life well-lived. Your robust spirit will never be forgotten.
