August 30, 2014 Service: September 4, 2014 Ann "Trudy" Speek, age 90, of Kentwood went to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 30th, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband and best friend of 51 years, Robert. She is survived by her loving children, Robert (Vickie) Speek of Wasilla, Alaska, Harry (Sandy) Speek of Cedar Springs, MI, Trudy (Rick) Johnson of Kalamazoo, MI, grandchildren, Robert, Keri, Kai, Michael, Sara, Audrey, Adam, 9 great-grandchildren, sister Agaat Schumacher of the Netherlands, and sister in law Eef van den Berg of Australia, along with many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 4th at 1 PM at the Ofield Funeral Home, 4500 Kalamazoo Ave SE, Kentwood, Pastor Jack Klunder and Rich Rockwood officiating. Interment will be at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Paralyzed Veterans of America, Donation Processing Center, PO BOX 758532, Topeka, KS 66675-8532, would be appreciated. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6-8 PM and 1 hour prior to the service on Thursday
