Anita Marie Bekins passed away peacefully in the early morning of December 7, 2025, at the age of 87.  Born on November 29, 1938, Anita lived a long and love-filled life devoted to her family and to the values she held dear.  A proud and caring mother, Anita raised four children—Kurt Bekins, Debra (Randy) Sutter, Brian Bekins (Connie), and Raymond Bekins—each of whom carries forward her strength, kindness, and steady spirit.  Her legacy continues through her 15 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren, all of whom brought her immense joy and were a source of constant pride.  Anita will be remembered for her warm heart, her gentle humor, love of Elvis and her unwavering dedication to those she loved.  She touched many lives with her generosity and compassion, and her memory will remain a cherished blessing to all who knew her.  Her family celebrates her long, beautiful life and finds comfort in knowing she is at peace.  Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life gathering on Saturday, January 10th, anytime from 1- 4pm at the Marne American Legion located at 1469 Arthur St, Marne, MI 49435.
