Andrew Riebel, our beloved son, grandson, brother, nephew, cousin and friend was called to his Heavenly home by his Lord Jesus Christ on November 27, 2019, following a brave three year struggle with ALS. Family and friends celebrated his 29th birthday on October 17, 2019. Having fought the good fight, he conveyed to his dad Tim, that he was his earthly hero, and that he was ready to finish the race and unite with his Heavenly Father. We are deeply grateful for the loving care that he also received from Faith Hospice. Our Drew-Drew "Drewella" is remembered for his ready smile, mischievous sparkling blue eyes, his gentle generous spirit and his welcome gift of bringing joy to others. He loved to laugh, play any board and card games, enjoyed golf with a known preference for riding not walking, loved to cook . . and of course reap the benefits of each experiment! He claimed to not like chocolate but the evidence was obvious. He is survived by his parents Timothy Riebel, Mary Lincer, Step-father Mike Ward, Step-mother Joyce Evans, brothers Will Riebel and Charlie Ward, grandparents Bill Lincer, Kathleen Riebel, Matt and Carol Ward, Bill and Mary Evans and too many aunts, uncles, cousins and special friends to mention. He was predeceased by his Grandparents Richard Riebel, Audrey Riebel, Dottie Lincer, Aunts Beth and Carole Riebel and Uncle Fran Cassidy. A Celebration of Life is being held on Saturday, December 14 at 11:00 am at Unison Christian Church (2010 Kalamazoo Ave. Grand Rapids, MI 49507) Memorial contributions can be made to the Susan Mast ALS Foundation or Faith Hospice.
