On Friday, December 4, Amanda Jean Wabeke passed away at the age of 42. Amanda was born on September 4, 1978 to Sam and Janice Wabeke (Ambrose). She graduated from Grant HS and her eye for detail landed her in supervisory roles in quality control at several companies. Amanda has a great welcoming smile for anyone she met and a loving, forgiving spirit. Her family was precious to her and she was the first one to give a hug.
Amanda is survived by her fiance Jason Zakem, her mother Janice Eskola (Ambrose), by her father Sam (Sherry) Wabeke, She will be sorely missed by her brothers and sisters: Jack Lofgren, Matt and Damary Lofgren, Patti and Mike Krieger, Chad and Jessica Lofgren, Aaron Wabeke, Samuel Wabeke (Lofgren), Steven and Jessi Wabeke, Joshua Wabeke, stepbrothers, Bruce and Amanda VanHaver, Joshua VanHaver, and Nick VanHaver, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
