Allen Morris Dakin Jr. of Caledonia, Michigan, known to his family and friends as "The Jigman," passed away on October 5, 2016 at the age of 53 after a long hard fight against brain cancer. He leaves behind a loving wife, Deanna Dakin, a loving mother, Christine Dakin, a brother, Wilmer (Bill) Dakin, Kim Kiser, and their family, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and many loving friends. He will join in heaven his father, Allen Morris Dakin, Sr., his grandparents, Wilmer and Ruth Foster, a niece, Elisha Teadt, and other close family members. He will be remembered by all whose lives he touched. A special thanks to Journey Church for their prayers and support while sending him on his new journey to heaven to be with the Lord and also to Faith Hospice, for their loving care, prayers, and support. Those we love don't go away, they walk beside us everyday. Still loved, still missed, and very dear to us. Al, you will never be forgotten. Gone too soon. We will all be together again. A memorial will be held October 22, 2016 from 3:00 - 4:00 PM at Journey Church, 9185 Cherry Valley Ave. SE, Caledonia, MI 49316. A luncheon will take place after the memorial at Al's mothers home, 10221 Duncan Lake Ave. SE, Caledonia, MI 49316.
