Alisha gave her life to Christ at early age when she joined Prince of Peace Ministry Baptist Church. She had a love for Christ starting at 4 years old and would read the Bible every night before bed.

She attended North East Middle School and continued her education at Ottawa Hills High School, where she participated in many extracurricular activities, resulting in her being elected most likely to succeed by her peers. She was nominated to Queens Court, and in her senior year Alisha was inducted to the school Hall of Fame for maintaining a GPA of over 3.5 through all 4 years of high school. She graduated with a 3.95 GPA and was in the National Honor's Society. Continuing into college, due to her academic excellence she was awarded several scholarships which included the Highland Chrysler Scholarship, the Dawkins Williams Scholarship, and Harrison Scholarship. She received her bachelor's degree with a double major in psychology and human resources from Michigan State University, where she also sang in the women's choir.

Alisha attended the captain bar accompanied by her father in 1999. She loved to dress up and be at her best. Alisha always had a smile that could light up the room and a soul that could touch many hearts and move any mountain.  She may be gone, but she left her footprint and will never be forgotten by those who knew her.

A special thank you to Streetlight Ministries. Alisha also loved helping out at Gilda's Club sisters to sisters group.
