Alice June Davis, 91, of Hamilton passed away August 20, 2023. She was born June 30, 1932 to Anton and Hartsel Smith. Alice graduated from Hopkins High School in 1950. In 1956 she packed up and moved to California. This is where she met Francis Davis and they got married. In 1969 they moved back to Michigan.

Alice loved animals, especially horses, reading, doing puzzles, and spending time with family.

Alice is preceded in death by her husband, Francis Davis, parents Anton and Hartsel Smith, siblings: Leonard Smith, Leo Smith, Paul Smith, and Betty Findley.

She is survived by her brother, Richard Smith, sister Anna Dolloff, and several nieces and nephews who will miss her dearly.

A memorial service is planned for September 17, 2023 at the Salem Township Cemetery (Burnips) at 12:30. There will be a luncheon to follow at the Dorr Moose Lodge.
