IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Alexis Marie
Kottman
June 9, 2003 – February 16, 2022
Alexis Marie Kottman of Muskegon, Michigan, age 18, passed away on February 16th, 2022. She was the daughter of Uwe Kottman and Kimberly Hayes-Kottman and was born on June 9th, 2003. Alexis was one of 3 children. She lived in Muskegon during her first few years of life and then moved with her mother and father to Alamogordo, New Mexico. They returned to Michigan in 2011 and lived there ever since. She graduated from Reeths-Puffer High School in 2021. Alexis was also known as Lexi, Lewie, Little Red, Lexi Lu, my Boo. She was a light in everyone's life. Her soul was a bright as the red hair on her head. She was so full of sunshine, beauty and love. She was a traveler. She loved meeting new people and making everyone feel welcome. She wanted to always be a helper and a healer. She always said that she could feel people's energies and that is probably how she was able to connect with so many people in such a meaningful way. She loved the outdoors. She loved going to the beach and camping with Gramsy. She started fishing when she could hold a pole in her hand. She loved to paint and listen to music. The thing she loved most was being surrounded by people she loved.
Alexis is survived by her loving mother Kimberly Hayes-Kottman and father Uwe Kottman; Grandmother Pauline Hayes; Grandfather Roger Hayes; Brothers Matthew and Michael Kottman; Uncle Richard and Aunt Tabbitha Hayes; Cousin Couper Hayes; Grandma and Grandpa Potts and family as well as many adoring Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and friends all over the world. She is preceded in death by her beloved Opa Fritz Kottman and Oma Johanna Kottman, Martin Potts and beloved dogs Roxy and Bandit.
