Alexia Nicole Vandyke, age 2, of Grand Rapids, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, February 6, 2023 at Helen DeVos Children's Hospital.

Alexia was born on August 7, 2020, to her loving parents, Marcus and Latasha (Topps) Vandyke, in Grand Rapids.

She was preceded in death by her great grandpa, Wade Brown; cousin, Kim Foster; great aunt, Millie Walker; and great uncles: Jerry Foster and Willie Walker.

Alexia will be deeply missed by her parents, Marcus and Latasha; siblings: Nevaeh Koops Topps, Rayanna Topps, and Laniya Vandyke; grandparents: Michelle and Floyd Topps, Myrna and Paul Larthridge, and William Vandyke; great grandmother, Doreatha Brown; aunts: Latoya Brown, Martianna Jones, Shinae Miles, and Patricia Vandyke; uncle, Montrell Hudson; cousin, Pashinae Miles; friends: Jan Bush, Jim Bush, Nate, Cory, and Dana; as well as many other family and friends.

Alexia loved to cuddle and give hugs.  You could always catch her following closely behind you with a smile and two fingers in her mouth.  Her favorite colors were pink and purple.

A funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 16, 2023, at Calvary Church, 707 E Beltline Ave NE, Grand Rapids with Pastor Joshua Warren officiating.  A time of visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the church.  Burial will follow at Pinehill Cemetery.
