Alexander "Alex" Jeffrey Horton, age 34, of Wyoming passed away unexpectedly on November 28, 2025.

He was born on May 22, 1991 in Grand Rapids, to Jeffrey & Jane L. Horton.

Alex graduated from Godwin Heights High School and later graduated from GRCC.  He worked as an electrician for VanderHyde and Pleune.

He was a hard worker and made lots of connections through his employment.  He enjoyed technology and helping people out.  Alex loved spending time outdoors with friends.

Survivors include his father, Jeffrey Horton; aunts, uncles cousins and friends.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Jane Horton; grandparents, Robert L. Horton & Virginia (Briggs) Horton and Frank & Laura Ellsworth.

A Memorial Visitation will be held from 2:00pm until 4:00pm on Friday, December 5, 2025, at Ofield Funeral Home, 4500 Kalamazoo Avenue SE, Kentwood.
