Alena Marie Eggleston, known as Lee to her family and friends, age 65, of Grand Rapids, Michigan passed away on Thursday, August 29th, 2019. Lee was born on January 2nd, 1954, in Grand Rapids, Michigan to Richard and Luella (Henry) Mead. She was married to Scott Alan Eggleston. She was the sunshine in her family's life. She was a very sweet loving mother and wife, and caring friend to all who knew her. She had such a big heart and loved without exception. She will be greatly missed by all. She leaves behind her loving husband Scott Eggleston; son, Patrick (Ami) La Mont; daughter, Kimberly (Paul) Gillispie; and son Jason La Mont; eight beautiful grandchildren; brother, Gail Rouse; and other family. The family will hold a Celebration of Life at Scott and Lee's home on Saturday, September 7th, 2019.
