Licensed Funeral Director
Meghan has been at Ofield Funeral Home since 2021. She grew up in Wisconsin and is a diehard Badger fan. She graduated from Alma High School, received her B.A. in Sociology from UW-Madison, an Associates of Science degree in Respiratory Therapy from Western Technical College and her degree in Mortuary Science from Milwaukee Area Technical College. She worked as a Respiratory Therapist at the Mayo Clinic for 5 years and at UW Hospital in Madison for 5 years. She was a Funeral Director Apprentice at Gunderson Funeral Home in Madison, WI and a Funeral Director at Torgerson Funeral Home in Black River Falls, WI. In August 2020 she moved to Michigan. She worked at Spectrum Health Hospital as a Respiratory Therapist during the height of COVID and at Airway Oxygen as a Vent Coordinator. She currently lives in Kentwood with her boyfriend and her yellow lab, Layla. Her family still lives in Wisconsin and she enjoys visiting them, especially her 3 nephews. Meghan loves traveling, snow skiing, snowmobiling, jet skiing, camping, riding quads, fitness, reading, football and basketball (Go Badgers!) She loves working at Ofield because it doesn’t feel like work! Not only is Ofield family-owned, but the people care about each other and the people we serve.
