Mary Lou Butler went home to be with her Lord and Savior on November 21, 2017. She was born in Weirton, WV on September 16, 1939. She lived much of her life in Weirton among many friends and family. In 1962 she married her best friend and love of her life, Bil Butler, and enjoyed a long and happy marriage before losing him in 2012. She is survived by her devoted children Carolyn (Don) Kuiphoff, Eric (Cherri) Butler, and Tricia (Nathan) Ruffer, grandchildren Caleb, Rylee, Emilee, Wesley, Anna, Benjamin, Zachary & Aaron. Mary Lou is also survived by a brother Gary (Carolyn) Lamp, and ‘sisters' Betty Jo (Don) Allen and Ruthann Lamp along with many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her beloved Bil, her parents, and brother, Arland Lamp. The family will receive friends at Grand Rapids International Fellowship, 3765 Kalamazoo Avenue in Grand Rapids on Monday, November 27 from 10 to 11AM. A celebration of Mary Lou's life will follow at 11AM. In memory of Mary Lou, contributions may be made to Nazarene World Missions. We will all miss Mary Lou, but look forward to being together again soon.
